Just writing an update with what’s happening in my life at the moment. Since my last post my boyfriend and I have moved out of his flat and he’s gone back to Korea for a holiday and to renew his visa. I’ve been searching for a job constantly since then with 1 unsuccessful interview and various no replies from companies. I’ve been helping my boyfriend get his deposit back from the flat and helping him fill in his visa application which is now done over the internet in the UK. I’ve really not had time to sit down and study Korean because my mind has been elsewhere.
The only way I can relieve my stress these days is by knitting or crocheting. The first product I was able to successfully crochet was a pair of slippers and a headband. I plan to crochet something else onto the headband in the future so it doesn’t look so plain.
I plan to study Korean after I post this by using TalkToMeInKorean – they are really helpful with grammar and fixed expressions. They’ve really grown a lot as a company since I first found them all those years ago. I feel they really give you a leg to stand on in regards to learning Korean and are good if you feel like you need a ‘touch up’ on your Korean. I haven’t actively studied Korean in about 8 months so I really need a reminder on some of the grammar/vocab I may have forgotten!
