One Year Later

I finally boughtย a book to help me prepare for the TOPIK exam ๐Ÿ˜†

After thinking over my decision to get my TEFL qualification I’ve decided I also want to study Korean seriously and take the TOPIK II exam in April ’16. The level of the class I am in for my Korean studies is TOPIK I according to my Korean teacher but I want to challenge myself and go straight into TOPIK II. Probably a bit ambitious but if I focus and actually study I might make Level 3 – I’d be super happy with Level 4 on my first try but I know the content and pass marks for each level has changed from the old format.

The book I purchased is from TwoChois and the title isย ํ•œ๊ตญ์–ด๋Šฅ๋ ฅ์‹œํ—˜ 2 ์‹ค์ „ ๋ชจ์˜๊ณ ์‚ฌ [Test Guide to the New TOPIK 2]

From the preview pages I feel it would be beneficial to me in getting myself familiarised with the new format. Also, the book wasn’t that expensive – I won’t be using it as my sole resource for the exam, I wanted to buy TOPIK Mock Test for Level 2 but with the shipping cost it would have been too pricey to buy both. So I’ll buy the other book once I get the first one and I’m happy with it.

I’m going to talk to my teacher when I meet him this week and ask him if he has any suggestions to help me study for the exam. I just wish the application date wasn’t so far away – I’ll end up forgetting or backing out at the last minute like last time and I just can’t this year.

    1. That’s good to know! It was difficult to decide whether to buy this book or not as I’ve heard many of these TOPIK guidance/help books are a waste of money. So, I’m glad someone has given this a good review ๐Ÿ™‚

      Thanks, you too!
