Unexpected New Years resolution

I have been thinking about this for a while but on Friday I decided to join the gym with a friend. I guess you could call it a New Years resolution. I didn’t realise how unhealthy/ weak I am until I started going. At the moment I am comfortable lifting 2kg weights but as time goes on I’ll increase the weights. Honestly, I don’t have any idea how I am supposed to exercise with dumbbells and weights so I have been googling tips and can’t wait to try them out.

I feel like I’ll view myself more positively and plus, I want to be more toned for going to Korea. I really don’t want to hear all the ‘fat face’ ‘chubby’ etc from strangers. I’m not even fat but by Korean standards I ain’t thin either.

Let’s hope I stick to it!

    I’m not chubby either, but a few days ago my study buddy (a guy) teased me with my lack of attendance at the gym (we go to the same chain, but never actually went together before). I retaliated by suggesting in a really enthusiastic way that we take a zumba class together after my exams are over – and then I had him sign up immediately. I’m not sure he knows what he signed up for hehehehe… According to his girlfriend his coordination skills begin to suffer the moment he has to coordinate walking on the spot, moving his arms AND breathing so that class could end up being a memorable experience ๐Ÿ˜€
