About Me

1375366938643

My name is Danielle and I’m currently teaching English in South Korea.
I made this blog to keep track of my Korean learning so I can look back and see how much I’ve improved. I like to watch Korean dramas so feel free to talk to me about those too! I hope that I can communicate with many people who are also studying Korean and we can share helpful tips about the language!

Have a great day and I look forward to talking to you 🙂

  1. Hello Danielle,

I just wanted to say hello (although I already have, so now it’s twice, lucky 2)

I really enjoyed watching your youtube video about your relationship with your Korean boyfriend (lucky girl) and reading your blog about your life, travels and language learning!

Wish you all the best (please make more youtube vids about your relationship with your boyfriend. I actually have a personal interest as I am also in a relationship with someone from another country and things are a bit rocky at the moment. I believe you two were correct when you said ‘ Patience’ is very important in the relationship, I am trying to be more patient now but may need more of your advice.

    Yours Sincerely,

Random person from Internet (not a crazy person I promise)

    1. Hello there, thanks for the comment! I’m glad you enjoyed the video, we have filmed part 2 so it will be out soon 🙂 hopefully everything goes well for you and your partner!

  2. 안녕하세요? 우연히 구글 서치하다가 들렸는데 굉장하시네요. ^^
Hi! I am Changgyu, studying in Glasgow. I just found your bolg while I was searching for something. I can tell you that your blog is amazing, not least your picture.
I will drop by later. Have a good weekend.
I do not know if you can see my writing in Korean and thus am leaving them in English as well.
    잘지내세요. 다음에 또 들리겠습니다. ^^

    1. 안녕하세요! 우와 글래스고에 살아요? 어느 대학 다니세요?
I live in Glasgow city centre and I am also studying in Glasgow 🙂 Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment! ^^

I want to know about you more 🙂

    친하게 지내고 싶어요!

  5. Hey omg I love your blogs and I found out your from Glasgow which is cool. I live there too. I need some tips on learning korean I’m struggling a bit especially since I’m studying social science I never get the time to actually study korean. Thanks 🙂

    1. I know how you feel: my course has increased its workload this year so I wasn’t able to study Korean properly.

My advice would be to make a timetable of your studies, work, hobbies and find a time where you can study Korean – even if it’s only for 1 hour per day. You can download Naver Webtoons on your phone and read a webtoon on your break. It really helps to keep you motivated! 🙂

  6. hi daniella, how are u? do you also have 2d1n season 2 with english subtitle? firts first episode when joo won join the group? tnx. im grace from phils.

    1. Hello grace, I don’t watch 2D1N so I haven’t uploaded any episodes from that TV show.

However, if you go onto KBS World TV on youtube you will find 2D1N episodes with English subtitles 🙂

  7. Hi Danielle, I just moved to Glasgow and I’m trying to find Korean language course but I can’t find. Maybe do you know any Korean course in Glasgow? thanks

  8. Hi Danielle! First, i reaaaaaaaally love your blog, second i love Scotland! I went last summer and now my heart is there! I’m from Italy, i live in a small city, but one of my dream is to visit once South Korea! I found interesting first the kpop music, then all about Korea: the dramas, the shows, the food, the language, the culture! I’m trying to learn korean, but it’s difficult to learn it by myself! However, i would love to know you better if you want! 🙂
